Inter Miami booked their spot in the Leagues Cup 2025 final with a 3-1 win over Orlando City on Wednesday night.
Orlando went ahead in first-half stoppage time through Marco Pašalić, but the match swung after David Brekalo was sent off for a foul on Tadeo Allende. Lionel Messi equalized from the penalty spot in the 77th minute, then struck again in the 88th after linking up with Jordi Alba.
In added time, Telasco Segovia finished off a move with Luis Suárez to seal the result.
Miami will now face Seattle Sounders, who beat LA Galaxy 2-0, in Sunday’s final at Lumen Field. Both teams have already secured qualification for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup. Orlando will meet LA Galaxy in the third-place playoff.
