Barcelona came from 2-0 down to defeat Levante 3-2 in La Liga on Saturday.

Levante took the lead when Iván Romero struck in the fifteenth minute of play. Then, José Luis Morales added to the lead when he scored from the penalty spot with only seconds on the clock in first-half stoppage. But Barcelona got one back almost immediately in the second half when Ferran Torres scored three minutes later. Then, a goal from long range from Pedri in the 49th minute equalised. Finally, the eventual match winner scored in stoppage when Unai Elgezabal redirected a cross from Lamine Yamal into the net.

According to manager Hansi Flick, Pedri's goal was important to Barcelona's comeback. Marcus Rashford made his first league start but was replaced at halftime. Robert Lewandowski returned from injury and was introduced into the game in the late stages, off the bench.

Elche drew with Atletico, 1-1 in Madrid. Rafa Mir equalised after Alexander Sorloth got Atletico on the score sheet first. Elche now has just one point in their first two matches.

Finally, Mallorca and Celta Vigo drew as well, 1-1, as Mateu Morey scored in the latter part of the contest to tie Javi Rueda's initial early goal.
