KATHMANDU: The 3rd Nepal Investment Summit 2024 has commenced in Kathmandu with a notable turnout of over 1,600 attendees. Invitations were extended to more than 2,400 individuals, reflecting the significant interest in the event. Participants from 55 countries are taking part, with Nepal itself being represented by 385 attendees.
China has the largest representation with 265 participants, followed by India with 143, the US with 33, Japan with 28, the UK and Bangladesh with 14 each, and the UAE with 13. Germany, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Qatar, and Ghana are also well represented.
The Summit will feature a showcase of 150 projects across 23 stalls, with a focus on 19 projects seeking letters of intent. The first day includes an opening session and two major sessions, while the second and final day will host 11 parallel sessions, offering ample opportunities for networking and discussion.
