KATHMANDU: The Nepali National Cricket Team has said goodbye to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) as they get ready to play in the ICC World Cup League-2 in Canada. Tonight, the team will leave for Canada, where their international campaign will commence.

While in Canada, the Nepali team will play three One Day International (ODI) series against Oman and Canada. The ODI series will begin on September 16 and last through September 26. Nepal will play Oman on September 18 and 24, and Canada on September 16 and 22.

The team will compete in a Twenty20 series that is slated to start on September 28 and finish on October 3 following the series of One-Day Internationals. This series will consist of 12 matches in total, 8 of which will be ODIs and T20s played by Nepal.

In October, Nepal will go to the USA for a second round of matches following their series in Canada. As part of their ongoing League-2 involvement, they will face Scotland and the hosts.

Nepal's second League-2 visit to Canada will take place during this forthcoming series. They only won one of their four games against the Netherlands and Namibia in their inaugural series, which was played at home.

CAN has unveiled the 16-man team that Rohit Paudel will lead on the Canadian tour. Anil Shah, Sandeep Lamichhane, Aasif Sheikh, and Kushal Bhurtel are some of the key members of the team. Dev Khanal will serve as the traveling back up.

For the team's North American and Canadian tour, Jagat Tamata has been named consulting coach. He will play a critical role in leading the team in the forthcoming series.

Nepal Standard Time indicates that the ODI series will feature games starting at 7:45 PM on September 16 and 22 against Canada and September 18 and 24 against Oman.

Nepal's T20 series matches are scheduled to begin at 9:45 PM on September 28 and October 1 against Canada and September 29 and October 2 against Oman.
