KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced a salary increase for national football players. According to ANFA Spokesperson Suresh Shah, the working committee meeting held on Tuesday decided to raise the monthly salary of national players from Rs 18,000 to Rs 30,000.
In addition, the committee also approved a salary of US$ 2,000 (over Rs 260,000) per month for Kiran Rai, ANFA’s General Secretary. The meeting, which started at 10:45 AM and extended into the night, was postponed to Thursday morning due to the SAFF Championship final scheduled for Wednesday.
