KATHMANDU: The opposition parties are set to meet on Tuesday morning ahead of the parliament session where the government will present the budget for the fiscal year 2024/25. The meeting is scheduled for 11 AM at the Federal Parliament building and will focus on their strategy for the session.

Additionally, the meeting will discuss the agreements reached with the ruling alliance regarding the formation of a probe committee to investigate the cooperative fraud case. The opposition parties have been backing the main opposition party, the Nepali Congress, in its demand for this committee, due to suspicions of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane's involvement in the fraud.
