KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel called on Nepalese citizens to work together to solve the country's current problems. At a tea party held at Sheetal Niwas during the Maghi festival celebration, he made this request. In order to create a stronger, more cohesive nation, Paudel underlined the value of cooperating to address the nation's problems.
In his remarks, President Paudel underlined that the Nepali people's main objectives are development, peace, and effective governance. He underlined that these goals are fundamental to the people and form the basis of the federal democratic republic system and the country's constitution. He stated that the primary objective of Nepal's political system is to establish a governance framework that can effectively carry out these ideas.
According to the President, Nepal's numerous festivals, which are celebrated by various communities, are crucial for promoting unity within the country. He pointed out that these celebrations foster love, respect, and harmony among diverse cultures, ultimately cementing links of brotherhood and national unity. All Nepalis should embrace the solidarity that these festivities symbolize, Paudel emphasized.
The tea reception included a number of well-known figures from Nepal's political establishment. Among the luminaries present were Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire, and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal was among the attendees, along with former Presidents Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Bidya Devi Bhandari, as well as current and former Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers, and other parliamentarians.
The significance of the Maghi festival, a major cultural event for the Tharu people, and its role in fostering national unity were acknowledged by the event participants.
