KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has reaffirmed that his administration continues to place a high priority on making sure that development projects are finished on schedule.

In a Facebook post, he said he had met with the chief ministers of each of the seven provinces to discuss the status of ongoing development projects. To guarantee effectiveness and on-time completion, the government is keeping a careful eye on these projects.

In contrast to previous cases where contractors experienced delays in getting compensation even after finishing their jobs, Oli emphasized that Rs 30 billion has already been allotted to construction contractors.

He underlined that the government's first objective is to complete the projects that have already been initiated. Now, a lot of infrastructure projects that had previously stopped are proceeding much faster.

By making these projects a key priority, the government wants to boost economic growth and enhance public infrastructure, ensuring that development projects significantly progress the country.
