KATHMANDU: This morning, President Ramchandra Paudel and First Lady Sabita Paudel went to the Dakshinkali Temple, where they prayed to the goddess Dakshinkali Mata and accepted tika and prasad from the priest. One of the most significant Shaktipeeths, or goddess temples, in the Kathmandu Valley, is the temple, which is situated in the Dakshinkali Municipality to the south of the capital.

While he visited there, Dakshinkali Municipality Mayor Mohan Basnet provided an overview of the damage caused by the most recent floods to the temple region. He pleaded with the President to support the efforts being made in the area for reconstruction and to help provide aid to the victims.
