KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has committed to investigating and prosecuting corruption scandals and irregularities from any period. During a session of the House of Representatives (HoR) where he is seeking a vote of confidence, Oli emphasized that the new government will not tolerate or permit corruption. He assured that the administration will advance with a focus on good governance.
Oli vowed to ensure that society believes in the legal consequences of corruption. Along with his commitment to hold those guilty of such scams accountable and bring them to justice, he also promised to resolve concerns pertaining to the misappropriation of cooperative funds.
