KATHMANDU: Partial weather changes and light snowfall are anticipated in certain alpine regions. This is ascribed to Nepal's exposure to westerly winds and a westerly low-pressure system.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology predicts partly cloudy conditions in the hilly areas throughout the coming day. The Kathmandu Valley has been experiencing overcast weather due to the low-pressure system, but by the afternoon, it should brighten up.

Today's weather is predicted to be better than Tuesday's. The current temperature in the Kathmandu Valley is 7.5 degrees Celsius, and the greatest temperature is predicted to be between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius.

Fog is expected to impair safety and visibility in a number of locations around the Valley and Terai region on Thursday morning.

The Department has urged locals and visitors to take the appropriate precautions to reduce dangers in the morning due to the foggy conditions.
