PM Oli inaugurates Damak Business Complex in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: In Dapgachchhi, Damak Municipality-3, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oliofficially opened the Damak Business Complex, a major turning point in the growth of the area. The complex is positioned to develop into a major destination for both domestic and foreign tourists, and it is around four kilometers from Damak's main town.


The 18-story building, which cost more than NPR 1.635 billion to build, is situated on a large plot of land that includes 16 kaththa and four bighas. The government hopes that this large corporate complex will be a major draw that boosts travel and business in the area.


Notable guests at the opening ceremony were First Lady Radhika Shakya, Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Karki, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Urban Development Prakash Man Singh. Their presence served as evidence of the project's importance to the national and provincial economies.


Strong local interest and optimism about the complex's ability to spur economic growth and offer a platform for business prospects in Damak and beyond are reflected in the event's high level of public involvement.
