Badal appointed as Attorney General by President Paudel

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has nominated eminent counsel Ramesh Badal as Nepal's new Attorney General. The appointment was made on Wednesday based on the Prime Minister's suggestion and in compliance with Article 175 (2) of Nepal's Constitution.


Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, spokesman for the President's Office, announced the nomination, highlighting Badal's selection for the prominent legal position.
