KATHMANDU: The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division reports that three additional cases of cholera have been confirmed in Kathmandu, bringing the total number of infections to 58 across the country. With 41 instances documented, Lalitpur is the most afflicted location; Kathmandu has seen seven, Kailali has seen eight, and Pyuthan has seen two.
Two people are presently undergoing therapy, and 56 of the 58 cases have resulted in recovery. Health officials continue to monitor and control the outbreak while keeping a careful eye on the situation.
