KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited and Nepal Manipal Teaching Hospital have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of providing the bank's customers with a range of health service discounts. This relationship demonstrates the bank's commitment to enhancing client benefits through collaborations with healthcare organizations.

The agreement was formalized by Global IME Bank's Chief of Gandaki Province, Shushobhan Devkota, and Nepal Manipal Teaching Hospital CEO, Anil Oduvil. Both parties welcomed the agreement with great enthusiasm since it is anticipated to assist bank clients seeking medical services.

As per the arrangement, individuals who utilize the bank's debit and credit cards, together with the Global Smart Plus mobile app, would receive savings on a range of medical services, from 10% to 100%. Encouragement to use various payment options for healthcare requirements is the goal of this effort for bank clients.

The agreement specifies certain savings, such as a 100% remission of registration fees, a 25% general ward charge reduction, a 15% regular check-up discount, and a 10% surgical and special test fee discount. Notably, bank customers will receive free doctor consultations, which will enhance the partnership's worth even further.

Customers can benefit from these savings when they use Global IME Bank's debit or credit cards, as well as their mobile banking services, to pay for their hospital bills. Along with promoting the bank's financial products, this collaboration aims to make healthcare services more accessible to bank customers.
