Parliamentary investigation committee questions Dipesh Pun over cooperative fraud case

KATHMANDU: Regarding a cooperative fraud case, Dipesh Pun, the son of former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, was examined by the parliamentary investigation committee. Dipesh Pun, a former secretary of the Butwal-based Supreme Savings and Credit Cooperative, was called to Singha Durbar to be questioned.


On March 15, Dipesh Pun was taken into custody in relation to the cooperative fraud case. The Rupandehi District Court fixed bail at Rs. 400,000 and after his arrest, he was allowed free on it.


In order to investigate the suspected fraudulent acts connected to the cooperative, the investigative committee is looking into the situation. One of the most important aspects of this ongoing inquiry is questioning Dipesh Pun.
