Three significant financial bills that were accepted by Nepal's Federal Parliament have been formally authorized by President Ramchandra Paudel.
Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, spokesperson for the President’s office, said the approval followed the rules set in the country’s Constitution.
The bills include the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2025/26, which allows the government to spend money from the federal fund for its various services and activities.
Another provision provides legal backing to the government's budgetary proposals as outlined in the national budget.
The third provision enables the government to raise funds from home and abroad whenever need be.
The aforementioned legislations, which are required to take care of the finances of the country, were passed by both houses of Parliament and were subsequently signed into law.
