KATHMANDU: Uruguay made it to the Copa America semifinals after they emerged victorious in the penalty shootouts against Brazil following a barren draw on Saturday. Uruguay won the match despite being reduced to ten men after Nahitan Nandez got a red card in the 74th minute and was set to face Colombia in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday.
In the other semifinal, world champions Argentina will take on the surprise team of the tournament, Canada, in New Jersey on Tuesday.
