KATHMANDU: The Ambukhaireni-Muglin road section of the Prithvi Highway will experience a temporary closure today from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. This closure is necessary for landslide control work near the dam located in Ambukhaireni Municipality-4.
According to Pashupati Gyawali, who heads the district road division office, the closure is essential to facilitate the trimming of large stones on the hillside, which pose a potential risk. This preventive measure aims to ensure the safety of travelers along the highway.
To manage traffic during this period, the district road division office has coordinated with the District Administration Office and the District Police Office. Their assistance will help ensure smooth traffic management and safety protocols during the temporary closure.
Travelers planning to use the Ambukhaireni-Muglin road section during the specified hours are advised to adjust their schedules accordingly and follow instructions from traffic authorities to minimize inconvenience.
