Indian national goes missing after drowning in Mohana River

KATHMANDU: In the Kailali district, an Indian national drowned in a river and has since been reported missing. The 50-year-old man, Chhotu, was employed at Ratan Khatri's store in Tikapur Municipality-8 at the time of the event.


The District Police Office's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and spokesperson, Kabindra Singh Bohora, stated that Chhotu drowned in the Mohana River while taking a bath. There are efforts to find him.


Searches are being conducted by local officials and locals in an effort to locate Chhotu. Nevertheless, he has not yet been found.
