KATHMANDU: The cost of petroleum items would be lowered, as declared by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC). In accordance with a resolution made by the NOC Board of Directors on Thursday, the cost of gasoline has been lowered by Rs 5 per liter, while the cost of diesel and kerosene has been decreased by Rs 3 per liter.
According to the new price structure, petrol will cost Rs 162 per liter in the first category, Rs 164 in the second, and Rs 165 in the third. The cost of diesel and kerosene per liter for the first, second, and third groups will be Rs 152, Rs 155, and Rs 158.
Charali, Biratnagar, and Janakpur are among the first-category locations, while Surkhet and Dang are in the second. Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal are designated as the third category.
