KATHMANDU: A corruption case has been filed against Kul Man Ghising, the managing director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), by Ramesh Kharel, the former Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Nepal Police. Presenting evidence of Ghising's involvement in corrupt activities related to Power Purchase Agreements, Kharel filed the complaint with the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today.
Concerns over possible wrongdoing by the managing director of the NEA have been raised by Kharel's disclosure of information on the claims on his social media channels.
