KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund has received a donation of Rs 20 million from Nepal Bank Limited. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was present for the receipt of the check. The donation was given in the Prime Minister's official house at Singh Durbar by bank officials, including Dr. Chandra Bahadur Adhikari, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

According to Dr. Adhikari, the donation is intended to help those who have been harmed by recent tragedies in Nepal. The money is meant to help with recovery operations and to provide support to people impacted.

Prime Minister Oli acknowledged his appreciation for the donation during the ceremony. In addition, he urged investors and industry groups to follow ethical lending guidelines, making responsible loan provisions and addressing the problem of subprime loans.
