KATHMANDU: The Forum of the Election Management Bodies of South Asia (FEMBoSA) is holding its 12th annual meeting in Kathmandu. They met with President Ram Chandra Paudel in Shital Niwas, and he emphasized the value of regular elections for maintaining democracy and promoting citizen engagement in politics. He emphasized that every nation needs free and fair elections.
President Paudel hoped that the meeting would promote impartiality, accountability, and fairness in South Asian elections. He underscored Nepal's commitment to FEMBoSA's joint goals, as well as the necessity for coordinated efforts to address election management difficulties.

The Election Commission of Nepal is hosting the two-day FEMBoSA event, which Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli officially opened on Wednesday. The forum's goal is to make South Asian election procedures more transparent and of higher caliber.
