KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated the likelihood of extremely hot weather in the districts of western Tarai over the next three days. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the heat.
The Division has warned that heat waves are likely to occur in the Tarai regions of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces. This advisory comes in response to rising temperatures in these areas.
In recent days, temperatures in some parts of the western Tarai have exceeded 40 degrees Celsius, prompting the Division to alert the public about the potential for severe heat conditions.
