Arrival of Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis in Kathmandu

Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday evening for a three-day official visit to Nepal.

He was received at Tribhuvan International Airport by Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, Joint Secretary and Head of the Europe Division at Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with other officials.

Cassis, leading a high-level delegation, is scheduled to meet senior Nepali leaders and government representatives during his visit.

According to officials, the purpose of the trip is to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as development, climate resilience, and economic partnership.
