KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has taken a significant step by initiating public service commission (PSC) examination preparation classes for its residents. Today marked the commencement of these classes, with 177 individuals selected out of 205 applicants.
In collaboration with Chaitanya Academy, KMC is organizing these preparatory sessions, catering to the specific needs of its residents. Among the participants, 72 individuals are gearing up for non-gazetted first and second-class official positions, while 105 are focusing on the section officer examination. The training program, slated to continue until August, is exclusively designed for permanent residents of the metropolitan city.
The inauguration of the training was conducted by Pradeep Pariyar, the chief administrative officer of KMC. He emphasized the importance of intellectual development programs in tandem with infrastructure and social development endeavors, underlining their role in fostering an orderly society and nurturing a prosperous city.
In addition to these preparation classes, KMC is currently hosting a skill fair in Tundikhel, further demonstrating its commitment to enhancing the capabilities and opportunities for its residents.
