KATHMANDU: Four people have died and seven others are unwell as a result of a diarrheal outbreak in Narainapur, Banke district. Rusa Pasi, 25, his 1.5-year-old daughter Nandini Pasi, 60-year-old Shanti Pasi, and 10-year-old Yusuf Ali are among the victims. Near the Indian border, in the Narainapur rural municipality-3, Gegli village is where the outbreak took place.
In order to treat the afflicted hamlet and maintain control over the situation, a team of health workers has been sent there, according to Nagendra Kumar Saha, Chief of the Health Section at the Narainapur Rural Municipality. The outbreak, which could be caused by tainted drinking water, is being addressed.
Effective management and containment of the outbreak have been established through coordination with the Banke Health Office. The priorities of healthcare professionals are treating patients as soon as they need to be and taking action to stop the illness from spreading.
