KATHMANDU: A 45-year-old Sonukhada village resident in Mahottari named Habib Nadaf is accused of killing his 36-year-old wife, Roshana Khatun. Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokharel said that after a domestic argument, Nadaf fatally beat Khatun. The incident happened on Saturday, and according to the authorities, Khatun's death was made worse by delayed medical attention.
The body of Roshana Khatun has been sent to Jaleshwar Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, police are searching for Habib Nadaf, who has fled the scene and is currently on the run.
