KATHMANDU: The Special Court has issued an order to remand Bikal Paudel, the former Executive Director of the Security Printing Center, to prison in connection with a money laundering case. The decision was made by a Joint Bench of Special Court Judges Khushi Prasad Tharu, Tejnarayan Singh Rai, and Muraribabu Shrestha.

Paudel faces allegations from the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) of corruption and abusing his authority to unlawfully accumulate assets. The CIAA had filed a corruption case against him earlier, accusing him of misusing his position for personal gain.
