2 Indian nationals arrested in Siraha for possession of firearm

KATHMANDU: Two Indian nationals were arrested in Maheshbari of Sakhuwanankarkatti Rural Municipality-5 in the Siraha district for possession of a pistol. The Chief of the District Police Office in Siraha, Ramesh Pandit, confirmed the arrests of Niraj Kumar Paswan, 18, and Arun Shah, 37, both from Maduwani district in Bihar, India. 


The arrests occurred after a security check was conducted on a public vehicle traveling from Thadi to Lahan in the Siraha district. The police discovered the pistol during this routine check, leading to the detention of the two individuals.
