KATHMANDU: Two individuals lost their lives in a motorcycle accident at Beldamar along the Ghorahi-Lamahi road section of Dang on Thursday morning. The accident involved a motorcycle with the registration number Ra 8 Pa 2940, which was traveling from Lamahi to Ghorahi.
Two motorbike riders from Ghorahi, Nawalpur, Shrawan Kumar Pun, 22, and Binod KC, a pillion rider from Ghorahi-4, were identified as the victims. The crash caused serious injuries to both of them in the head and face.
The District Police Office in Dang believes that the motorcycle's loss of control caused the collision. The precise reason behind the loss of control is still being looked into.
Both victims were discovered unresponsive and without consciousness. They were taken by police to Lamahi Hospital, where upon arrival, medical professionals pronounced them dead.
