KATHMANDU: Kami Rita Sherpa has accomplished an extraordinary feat by conquering Mt. Everest, the tallest peak globally, for the 30th time, surpassing his own previous record. Sherpa reached the summit successfully at 7:49 am on Wednesday morning, marking another remarkable milestone in his illustrious climbing career.

This latest ascent comes shortly after Sherpa's 29th successful summit of Mt. Everest earlier in the season on Baisakh 30. With this achievement, Sherpa solidifies his status as the only individual to have scaled the highest peak a remarkable 30 times, showcasing his unparalleled expertise and determination in mountaineering.

Born in the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality of the Solukhumbu district, Sherpa first conquered Mt. Everest on May 13, 1994. Since then, his unparalleled accomplishments have earned him widespread recognition and reverence within the mountaineering community, establishing him as a legendary figure in the field.
