KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) is moving forward with plans to blacklist 17 construction and supplier companies. This action follows recommendations from various public bodies after these companies failed to respond within the 30-day period given for explanations.

The PPMO has issued a notice today providing a seven-day ultimatum for the companies to submit their written explanations. If the companies do not comply within this timeframe, they will be blacklisted.
