KATHMANDU: The Madhesh Province government has agreed to provide humanitarian aid to the relatives of those who died in the catastrophic Simaltal landslide bus tragedy in Chitwan on July 12. Each deceased's family will receive Rs 100,000 in financial relief.
Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh of the provincial government announced this support specifically for the families from Madhesh Province who were affected by the accident. He emphasized that the Office of the Chief Minister has already issued the declaration regarding this relief effort.
The financial assistance will be distributed based on recommendations from the Chief District Officer, ensuring that the families of the accident victims receive the support they need during this difficult time.
