KATHMANDU: The Flood Forecasting Division has issued a warning about possible floods in 27 districts throughout Nepal, including Sindhupalchowk and Kathmandu. The forecast expects higher river flow in various regions, including Dolakha, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur, Sindhuli, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Lamjung, Kaski, and Doti. Residents in these areas have been asked to be extremely careful owing to the likelihood of abrupt surges in some rivers.
Additionally, an increase in river flow is expected in Udayapur, Ramechhap, Dhading, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Parbat, Gulmi, Pyuthan, Salyan, Surkhet, Rukum East, Rukum West, Dailekh, Kalikot, Acham, Bajhang, Darchula, and surrounding districts. The Division has emphasized the need for residents in these areas to stay alert to potential flooding risks.
