KATHMANDU: It has announced the fourth edition of its officially licensed TED event, TEDx Maitighar, taking place on June 29 at Loyola Campus of St. Xavier's College, Kathmandu. Following up on successful editions in 2019, 2021, and 2023 that saw inspiring speakers with impactful talks, TEDx Maitighar 2024 will represent and share meaningful ideas at the local level. The event was aimed at furthering the cause of a more inclusive and interconnected society through diverse insights derived from the individual stories that different people shared.
Themed "Diverse Dimensions: A Kindred Kaleidoscope," TEDx Maitighar 2024 tries to bring about a degree of understanding and appreciation for a myriad of perspectives. One could interpret this theme as embracing different dimensions of life, from intellect to emotions, culture, and society, and bringing out that unity which binds people together. It will give a sense of unity amidst diversity by bringing into the limelight shared experiences and diverse narratives.
Featuring a diverse lineup of national and international speakers, including Actress Keki Adhikari, CEO of reAlpha Giri Devanaur, Marketing Director of InDrive Natalia Makarenko, and Photojournalist at The Himalayan Times Skanda Gautam, TEDx Maitighar 2024 promises to offer insightful talks and engaging performances.
