KATHMANDU: A multi-vehicle collision along the Narayanghat-Mugling road resulted in one fatality and injuries to 22 others last night. The crash occurred at 17-kilo of Bharatpur Metropolis-29, involving three buses and a truck. A 17-year-old boy was killed in the incident, though his identity remains unknown.
A spokesperson at the District Police Office in Chitwan, Bhesraj Rijal, reported that the accident caused a temporary obstruction of vehicular movement, which was cleared this morning, allowing two-way traffic to resume.
Of the injured, 18 passengers are receiving treatment at a primary hospital in Kurintar, while four others have been transferred to Chitwan Medical College for further care.
