KATHMANDU: The Prithvi Highway, which had faced closure due to landslides, has now been cleared and reopened for traffic. The obstruction, caused by a landslide between Phisling and Mauwakhola in Ichchakamana Rural Municipality-3, Chitwan, along the Muglin-Malekhu section, had persisted since this morning. Nirala Bhandari, Chief Police Inspector of the Area Police Office in Muglin, verified that both lanes of the highway are now accessible after the removal of debris.

Following the clearance of the highway, vehicles that had been halted due to the landslide are now able to resume their journeys towards their respective destinations. This development brings relief to commuters and travelers who were temporarily inconvenienced by the disruption.
