KATHMANDU: Prabhakar Chandra Mallik is the new Chief of Flight Safety, having been appointed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN). This announcement, which came from CAAN on Friday, emphasizes Mallik's wealth of knowledge spanning more than 15 years in the aviation sector.
The spokeswoman for CAAN, Hansa Raj Pandey, commended Mallik for his long-standing commitment to aviation security and his constructive influence on the organization's aviation security division. Mallik has demonstrated throughout his career his dedication to the field.
Since joining CAAN in 2007, Mallik has worked in various capacities, starting from the seventh level. His professional background includes significant roles with Cosmic Air, Sita Air, and Emirates Airlines. Mallik is also certified to work on several aircraft types, including the Airbus A320 and A330.
