RSP files motion in parliament urging action on cholera spread

KATHMANDU: On Thursday, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) submitted a motion for attention to Parliament regarding the nationwide spread of cholera. Speaker Devraj Ghimire was presented with the motion, which was made by RSP politician Dr. Toshima Karki and seconded by parliamentarians Manish Jha and Sobita Gautam. The motion emphasizes how critical it is to take immediate action in order to predict, contain, and address the cholera outbreak.


Dr. Karki stressed that things could get much worse if nothing is done quickly and effectively. The purpose of the motion is to bring the health crisis to the attention of the legislature and guarantee that the required steps are taken to control the outbreak and stop it from spreading.
