KATHMANDU: Bhaktapur Hospital has initiated a program to provide free treatment and surgery for uterine prolapse patients. Dr. Sumitra Gautam, the Hospital Director, announced that the initiative commenced today, offering cost-free medical care to individuals suffering from uterine prolapse. Dr. Gautam emphasized the prevalence of this condition among women, noting that some may have concealed it due to financial constraints, while others have been unable to afford surgery.
Dr. Gautam urged women facing uterine prolapse not to conceal their condition and to seek treatment at the hospital. She highlighted the importance of addressing this health issue promptly to prevent further complications. The hospital is dedicated to providing assistance to those in need and aims to alleviate the burden of medical expenses for affected individuals.
The free-of-cost services for uterine prolapse patients will be available at Bhaktapur Hospital until mid-June.
