KATHMANDU: The Narayangadh-Butwal section of the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi has been closed due to a landslide in Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2. The area had already been affected by flooding, and the road, which had been operating as a one-way route since Tuesday evening, was blocked once more after recent heavy rain.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Bedh Bahadur Paudel from the District Police Office, Bardghat Susta East, reported that efforts are currently underway to clear the landslide and reopen the road.
