Boulder strike injures 2 on Narayangadh-Muglin road

KATHMANDU: A boulder struck a moving micro-bus on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section in Chitwan, injuring two passengers. The incident occurred in Bharatpur Metropolitan-29 and involved a micro-bus with the registration number Province 01006 Kha 6414. 


The injured individuals have been identified as Kalpana Pariyar, 30, and her eight-year-old daughter, Kanchan Pariyar, both from Devchuli Municipality-13. Chief District Officer Indra Dev Yadav says that both are presently undergoing medical care in Bharatpur and that their conditions are stable.


The likelihood of floods and landslides has increased in Chitwan and the surrounding areas due to the constant rainfall. To maintain safety amid these dangerous conditions, the District Administration Office has recommended the public refrain from making needless travel plans.
