KATHMANDU: KP Oli, the Chairman of the CPN-UML party, strongly criticized the behavior of the Nepali Congress (NC) during Thursday's session of the House of Representatives (HoR). Addressing the media briefly at the Federal Parliament premises in New Baneswor on Friday, Oli stressed that Parliament should not be a platform for conflict.

Expressing his disappointment, Oli specifically condemned the attitude of the Nepali Congress towards journalists. He described how lawmakers from the Nepali Congress invaded the ruling party's area, using abusive language and showing disrespect during the session.

Oli suggested that the anger displayed by Nepali Congress members might be linked to their perception of being ousted from the government. He emphasized the need for decorum and mutual respect in parliamentary proceedings, urging all parties to uphold the dignity of the institution.
