KATHMANDU: A passenger bus traveling from Kanchanpur to Kathmandu crashed on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section at Bharatpur-29 on Sunday morning, resulting in injuries to at least 15 people. The accident occurred around 7:15 AM when the bus, with registration number Su Pra Pra 02 001 Kha 1332, lost control and crashed.
Inspector Nirala Bhandari from the Area Police Office in Mugling reported that rescue operations are ongoing, and all the injured passengers have been transported to hospitals in Bharatpur, Chitwan for treatment. Among the injured, the condition of two individuals at Chitwan Medical College is noted to be critical.
The collision brings to light persistent worries about traffic safety and the difficulties encountered during rescue operations. Authorities are attempting to resolve the issue and give accident victims the appropriate medical attention.
