KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist Party is holding a Secretariat meeting this afternoon at its central office in Aloknagar. The primary agenda of the meeting is to finalize key aspects for the upcoming general convention.
Standing Committee member Alok Rayamajhi mentioned that the meeting will cover political strategies, socialist programs, legislative frameworks, and organizational documents that are set to be presented at the convention starting on July 10 in Kathmandu.
Critical tasks include reviewing preparations for the 10th General Convention, approving various documents and delegate lists, and assessing the progress of subordinate committees. The convention, which will be held at the Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, will feature the election of new leadership according to the party’s policies and programs.
Additionally, the party plans to mobilize approximately two hundred volunteers for the convention.
