KATHMANDU: On Friday afternoon, three new State Ministers took their oaths at Singha Durbar, with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli overseeing the ceremony. President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed these ministers based on government recommendations.
Purna Bahadur Tamang was named State Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, while Rupa BK will serve as State Minister for Forest and Environment. Arun Kumar Chaudhary has been appointed as the State Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. Tamang and BK are affiliated with the Nepali Congress, and Chaudhary represents the Nagarik Unmukti Party.
