KATHMANDU: At the swearing-in ceremony held at the President’s office, Sheetal Niwas , Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated KP Sharma Oli on his appointment of the new prime minister of Nepal. Through the social media site X, Modi congratulated Oli, and said he wanted to improve the relationship between both nations and work with Oli to deepen the India-Nepal relations.
Another statement by Modi demonstrated his confidence in the role of Oli in the growth of the relationship between India and Nepal. He emphasized the need for a growing amount of interaction with regard to the promotion and development of the well-being of the peoples of both nations. Modi also highlighted India’s commitment to engaging with Nepal on various fronts to boost relations and development.
