US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet at the White House next week on September 26 to discuss the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Zelenskyy and Vice President Kamala Harris will meet separately, as per a statement released by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

The main topics of discussion will be US assistance for Ukraine's defense against Russian aggression and strategic planning for the country. Biden and Harris will restate how steadfastly they will support Ukraine until it wins.

Zelenskyy has declared that he will deliver his strategy for winning the war to President Biden when they meet.

During a recent lecture in Kyiv at the Yalta European Strategy Meeting, Zelenskyy stressed that wars of aggression, such as Russia's invasion of Ukraine, can be resolved diplomatically or militarily, but either way, Ukraine's independence is maintained.

Zelenskyy emphasized the connection between the two nations and underlined the significance of Ukraine having a strong position. He also highlighted that U.S. help is vital in reaching this aim.

In recent weeks, Zelenskyy has vented his irritation at not having the go-ahead from allies, especially the United States and Britain, to employ long-range weapons against targets within Russia.

The United States and Great Britain, who have both expressed concerns about being drawn into a direct conflict with Russia, have rejected Ukraine's request for authorization to employ long-range weapons on Russian territory.
